Mini summary: Science student by day, while always artistic, and a gentleman/caring at heart. Scientific, logical and rational mind, yet equally filled with emotions and appreciation for finer aesthetics. I am a very unique (interesting?) individual if I do choose to talk to you. People that would bother to read the profile tend to get the idea, and agree. The people I would want to know should have read my profile instead of quitting here.

I am a "different" sort of person and not your "average Joe", you won't find many like me. There is lots to say but I will try to summarise and leave the details for conversations.

I am a mix of things, and I believe only a few things in the World are either black or white. The World is mostly shades of grey. I guess that is why I liked Dexter and Breaking Bad haha, instead of generic drama/film stories of good vs. bad guy and happy endings, even though I don't watch that many shows. Most people are not either sinners or saints, but shades of grey.

Anyway, I am a mix of things.
If you were to see me with my long black hair with green/blue coloured front and lip/ear piercing, you would assume I am an artistic type, and indeed you would be right: I do love art and music is my life, I do play guitar and keyboard and do photography.

But talk to me, and you will realise I am actually a science student studying at a University, and cherish knowledge and intelligence, and their prospects in bettering the mankind.

But with both cases you won't assume my lifestyle or interests. I am not your footy lad. I enjoy physical activities such as Tennis, horse-riding, yoga, climbing, cricket, skiing, athletics etc.

I am a down to Earth person, yet have certain standards. I am friendly towards everyone, and give everyone a chance, but I am selective as to who I end up hanging with. I make effort with most people, but if I don't see the return, then I give up too.

I am a quiet/shy type of person, but once I get to know someone/start talking and you are my type, I can talk A LOT. If I like someone, I really like them, and am faithful and loyal. People may forget, but I never forget people. I am very caring and forgiving but I don't forget. I just have a good memory haha.

I am a very honest and caring person who tends to put others first. I don't like liars and fakers. I won't go around fake complimenting females to "win" them. I know I suffer because of this, but so be it, I don't like to be fake or lame. I don't play this "dating game". But when I do compliment someone, I really mean it. I am honest in what I say, however if it may hurt someone, then it is better to be quiet about it.

I am almost 25, yet not quite my age. In some things such as jokes I may still act like an 18 year old, while when it comes to serious things, I act wiser. In fact I was more serious about things when I was 14, than some people are around my age. So yes, some things under, some things over my age.

My range of humour can be from immature to my favourite i.e. sarcasm, which in my opinion is the ultimate form.
Being immature for fun's sake is good, but it doesn't give one the right to be an idiot and harm others. I don't like stupidity, or people acting tough/gangster/yolo/swaggers. Your personality/inner beauty matters more than looks. Like Judge Judy says: "Beauty fades, dumb is forever." I appreciate intelligence and seriousness for things that require that. Being intelligent doesn't mean you have to have some degree or qualification, it is the willingness to be open and have a thoughtful mind, and not be obsessed with celebrity culture.

I am a misanthropist yet a philanthropist, i.e. I don't expect much or put faith in humanity, I have seen how terrible it is. That being said, I wish it was better and everyone was happy and in peace.

My sophistication applies to my musical taste too. It is varied, but the bottom line is, it is meant to make me feel/think/or relax. It isn't about having a beat to dance to. I don't like clubbing; I dislike the music and the stench of desperation. What I listen to is never on TV/radio. That doesn't really mean that I am a hipster. In fact I would love to share my music provided it is worth sharing and if I see someone will appreciate it. Main genres (which can be mixes of sub-genres) I like are: Progressive rock/metal, psychedelic/space, alternative, art/experimental, atmospheric/ambient, doom/gothic, melancholic/nostalgic/sentimental, dreamscape and instrumental/classical.
